The apartment is wonderfully comfortable and well-equipped with everything we need for a pleasant stay, from lovely dishes to cozy furniture and convenient appliances. Plus, the communication with Helena is excellent, and she is truly outstanding, making our experience even better.

The apartment is just as described, clean and well-maintained. Jan is readily available to answer questions and help throughout the stay. I would highly recommend staying in this apartment.

This updated, modern space works well for a short-term stay, in a great location near the city centre and the appealing aspects of Ruzafa. The steep, narrow stairs make the four flights a healthy workout with every coming and going, and the top floor was definitely much warmer than the lower levels. The kitchen has most of the basic tools for meal support. Although it sleeps up to 5 or 6 people, it is open concept, shared room style, as the loft upstairs (which is shorter than most people standing -- watch your head!) connects the living room to the bedroom. And you'll want to bring along some door hooks to be able to hang your towels to dry, or coats/jackets, purses/shopping bags. I added a couple while I was here, to help future guests.

I really enjoyed staying at Šárka´s apartment and the room met my expectations. I really felt at home. Šárka was always helpful in anything I needed. Also her dog is a sweet and well tempered one. I will miss them.

We absolutely loved this apartment! The location is perfect, with a 3 story shopping center within about 5 minute walk (large grocery store/food court/bookshop) all open late. It's a beautiful walk to the water (takes about 8 minutes, and that's hauling 3 kids with us); you can walk to the cable cars, and there are plenty of restaurants all accessible. It's a greaty spot. The interior is exactly as pictured, and the views of the city are perfect. Modern appliances, and everything was very clean and updated. Like another reviewer, we really loved the couch too. Bogdan and Andrew were very responsive leading up and during our stay, and I want to thank Bogdan especially for meeting us late night for the key handover and showing us around the apartment. This was our first time using Flatio, and it was perfect. If you're visitng Madiera, whether short or long term, this is a gem.

The owner was amazing. The home was very well stocked and she went out of her way to make sure I had what I needed. Great communication too, she let me know both about an upcoming national holiday in which most shops would be closed as well as the change in daylight savings time (which was different than the US date.$

Totally recommend this apartment :) Great view of the ocean, quiet, and has everything you need to work comfortably (and even an air fryer!) Comfy bed, good shower. Lots of small cafes + restaurants along the beach. For groceries there is only a very small supermarket in walking distance, but easy parking/short walk to bus stop.

Good place for it's money, a bit far from Lisbon, so car is almost a must. Nice kitchen, nice lemon tree. The owner helped and responded well and quickly throughout the whole rent.

What I loved: LOCATION! walking distance to Alfama and several central plazas. So much to see and discover. Several great restaurants up the steps!! This flat is nestled in such a central area. It was a great intro to Lisbon and gives you excellent access to nearby hubs of activity. PRICE! Favorably priced for a great area. The apt itself is a very small space but is well resourced.
CLEAN! The place was clean and well kept. Came with towels and clean sheets and pleasant smell. Things to consider: NOISE: there is a community center adjacent to the kitchen/bathroom windows so you will hear kids playing football for 70% of your day. While it's endearing it’s, not ideal if you need a quiet space to work from home. Also, the walls are super thin so you hear everything. 
AREA: Yes there are people who hang out near the entrance to listen to music and drink. No they are not dangerous or even remotely interested in you. When you arrive its straight up the steps to the right. SHOWER MOLD: The rest of the apartment was very clean, but the bathroom door and grout had mold at base which was unpleasant. COLD: Very cold indoors in beginning of April. There is only one tiny heater that we had to elevate to have a chance at warming our toes. If you come in summer you probably won’t have this issue because the weather will be warm. HOT WATER: we didn't get hot water until day 3 and when it came it left quickly (after 3 mins) in the shower daily.

A cozy small flat - ideal for 1 person. Great view including the Parliament. Not the best for home office.

BOOKED FOR 2 MONTHS ONLY STAYED FOR 2 WEEKS. ONLY 1 SHOP AND VERY DEAR. COULD NOT HIRE A CAR AS OVER 70 .BEACH A LONG CLIMB DOWN BUT A VERY NICE FAMILY AND VERY HELPFUL.

We really enjoyed our stay with Vaclav! The place was very clean, the communication with Vaclav was great, and the room was beautifully set up with a comfy bed, pretty flowers, and lots of natural light. Thanks for having us :)

Pan majitel je velice ochotný a vždy pohotový v komunikaci. Byt je krásně světlý a prostorný, na klidném a dostupném místě do centra města. S bytem nebyly za celou dobu pobytu žádné problémy a kolega, který byl v bytě ubytován, byl spokojen.

Apartment had everything I needed for a 7 week stay. Markus was very responsive. Location great: was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go, just a block from a large Thursday market. Would stay again
