Very close to the old town and the train station.

The apartment is in a great area, with everything within easy reach, as well as metro and tram stops right outside the door. Michaela was very easy to communicate with, and so helpful during our stay.

We had a wonderful time here in Funchal! Luisa is very helpful and easy to communicate with whenever we had a question. Here are some of the things we loved most: The apartment is bright with lots of windows (great for watching sunrise!) and just the right size for 1-2 people. We liked having a balcony and while there is no real view of the water it was a great space to workout in the early mornings or just go outside to get some fresh air. There was plenty of storage and we were actually surprised at how much storage we had in just a studio space. We didn't feel cramped at all. The internet quality was great and we were able to upload our Youtube videos while there in just 30 minutes! Most places take several hours so if you need reliable internet this is a perfect place for those who work online. There were extra pillows and blankets. There was a washer and a drying line outside. There was a blender! We loved making smoothies everyday with all the fresh fruit on the island. The blender was even able to blend frozen bananas quite well. We liked being able to watch a movie in bed as the TV is set-up so you can see it from the couch or bed. The location is great as it is set a short walk from old town (about 30 mins) and also right near the LIDO pools. You are really in a great spot to get around. Some things you may want to know for your stay: The kitchen is small but totally workable. I love to cook so I had to learn how to make more minimalistic meals. Not a big deal but just something to note. The hot water, like most places here on the island, doesn't last long so be sure to time your showers if you have a partner staying with you so that you do not take them back to back. We just alternated showering 30 minutes between each other and doing laundry later in the day so it wasn't a big deal. But just keep this in mind. Parking is TIGHT. I personally couldn't have parked here but my husband did just fine. If you plan to rent a car just know that this is typical everywhere on the island. In all, we loved our stay and would 100% stay again in the future. Thanks Luisa!

The place is super modern, with all new furniture and a kitchen that had everything I needed. The neighbors were quiet, making it a chill spot. The landlord was polite and friendly. I have stayed in it for a month and strongly recommend this flat)

Mieszkanie przestronne, widne, czyste, w pełni wyposażone i przygotowane na przyjęcie gości. W okresie jesiennym nieco uciążliwa wilgoć. Fantastyczni właściciele, zawsze służący pomocą. Gdybyśmy mieli kiedykolwiek wrócić do Aveiro z chęcią ponownie wynajęlibyśmy to mieszkanie.

We've stayed in the place for around two months and it was a great pleasure. As previous comments indicate, the place is even better than can be seen in the pictures, it's very spacious, has everything you need to live here for as long as you wish. Since we came with a baby, the owner was kind enough to prepare a baby bed and high chair. It also includes a private spot in the underground garage, so you will have no issues parking your car. The roof terrace this apartment offers is amazing to watch sunsets or have a cozy dinner in a fresh air. The communication with the owner is flawless and they are here to help you to resolve any issue you might face.

House is very nice, probably better suited for spring and summer. Isabel is a great host, communication was prompt and she was very kind. The neighbourhood is very relaxed.

Helena was proactive and helpful with her communication prior to and during my stay. Her apartment was a very comfortable place to spend a few weeks.

The location of the apartment is amazing. 5 minutes to walk to tens of restaurants and bars. Right below the apartment grocery shop, where you can buy grilled chicken and sweet potatoes and that's a very affordable way of living. There is a great pizza restaurant, where the Italian chef doing an amazing job. The apartment is a great size for a family of 4 and the balcony is great for morning and evening chilling time. It's very interesting to watch life right in front of the building from the balcony. There is a great route to Funchal and a natural pool around the sea. 2,2km by walking around the sea. Great bars and sand beaches to explore there. It was 40 minutes on average to a lot of lavadas around the island, and 15 minutes to Funchal. We found a great Praia de Machico (beach) which was amazing. The best lavada for kids was PR 6.1 - Levada do Risco. Little Things to improve in the apartment -> mattress and hot water during the stay. We stayed in December and we were surprised by the temperature of the ocean. A couple of times we swam with kids.

The apartment was nice and well-maintained, with really beautiful views. The host was friendly and easy to contact. I had a good time staying at this place.

Great apartment, ideally located in the heart of Karlin, close to the old town/city centre (30min walk and 15min by tram) while offering a piece and quite environment without compromising on the restaurants and local amenities options. Cherry on the cake, the landlady, Tereza, was very helpful and friendly which has made my relocation to Prague smoother thanks to all her tips on the city

Great place!

I did an internship in Porto and spent 2 months at this room. There is one bathroom and the kitchen is shared. The owner was really friendly and always there for any help. I am really grateful for having such a good experience.

Ricardo was a great landlord! Super attentive and checked in with me periodically to make sure everything was ok. The apartment is a sweet little spot with ocean views. Comfortable for 1-2 people. Very centrally located, and you can easily walk to the beach as well as the grocery store and many restaurants. I would definitely stay here again! And I hope to be back soon.

The apartment is wonderful! The communication with the landlord after moving in is very poor. Do not expect immediate or timely answers to any questions. The documents I was told to sign by Flatio were never presented. Make sure you document everything regarding the condition of the apartment on your own with photos or short video upon move in and out ( the platform does not support large video files). The apartment itself is beautiful, clean and located in a great area.

Good apartment. The bedroom has a great desk and chair in case you want need to work from home. Living room is a nice space to chill and receive guests. Kitchen is well equiped with plenty of room. Location is really good, having various forms of public transport nearby, but still quiet. Also plenty of supermarkets and restaurants withing walking distance. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, Zoltan is very friendly. Overall great experience, I recommend it!
