A proprietária simpática, casa limpa e bem localizada, apesar do problema que tinha no chão. Espero que a proprietária repare o chão o mais breve possível. Ficou por resolver a situação da tv que deixou de funcionar. Tudo o resto gostei. Obrigado

Modest apartment, sparsely decorated, low budget bedroom furnishings, no ac, no screens on windows. 2 oscillating fans (provided upon request). Decent kitchen but had random, secondhand, cookware.

The owner, bless her heart, was responsive to requests and tried to make our stay pleasant. After a plumbing incident occurred (at no fault of hers or ours), damaging the flooring and doors, we requested a termination of agreement as repairs would not be completed during our stay.

The price for the location was very good but the unit and its furnishings need improvements.

It is located in a historic neighborhood with lots of traditional Portuguese restaurants cooking seafood over charcoals…wandering cobblestone streets…. Rustic and lovely. Along the beach, there are plenty of restaurants offering various cuisines as well as clothing shops. There is heavy construction next door and a busy street between the apartment and the beach. The beach is expansive and busy with tons of children (clearly used as a daycare excursion during the am). It is vibrant. Public transportation is relatively good using the bus. The metro is a hearty 20 minute walk away. It is difficult to catch ride share from this location (for reasons unknown). The streets are relatively flat (compared to The Porto city center) so easier to navigate by foot.

The apartment has a great view, the beach is located directly across the street. The apartment has everything you need, and the owner is very pleasant.

The nearest large shops are within a 25-30 minute walk and the metro is a 20-25 minute walk.

Apartment is a few steps from the beach, and has great views of the ocean. Worth renting for this reason alone.

The building and the apartment could use a bit of renovation, but for the price, for anyone wanting to be close to restaurants and go to the beach often, they would be hard pressed to find anything better.

Everything was fantastic! Great apartment. Really good location, right in the beach. The owner is a very generous, gracious, helpful person. Great experience overall. The apartment is a nice size and has the potential of being a very comfortable tourist accommodation. A few things still need a finishing touch, but this apartment is more than livable. It’s enjoyable.

Public transportation is adequate, but you must learn the schedules. Otherwise you could spend a lot of time waiting or walking. The Metro is a 20 minute walk, but the bus stop is only a half a block away.
