I had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and exactly as described. The entire apartment itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and all the amenities and public transport are within a really short walking distance.
What truly made this experience exceptional was the host: Elvan is a lovely and really welcoming person. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and at home; throughout my stay, we had the opportunity to spend time together, sharing conversations, cooking meals, and enjoying many pleasant moments.
I absolutely recommend staying at her place to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Staying with Elvan was a truly genuine cultural experience.
The house, with its lovely garden, offered mornings filled with fresh sunlight and serenity. The room was clean, cozy, and private, yet there was also space to share meaningful moments with the host.

During my stay, I joined Elvan in preparing classic Turkish meze — olive-oil marinated red peppers — and her comforting lentil soup. She is a talented and warm-hearted host, a true artist of living. To witness her daily life and creativity was an irreplaceable experience — one that revealed the quiet poetry of everyday Turkey.

The house is located by the street, so there may be some noise — but apart from that, everything was wonderful.
