Hello! I’m Liisi – your host in North Karelia.
I’m a creative professional working as a graphic designer and textile artist. To balance my creative side, I am also currently studying accounting. I’m a mother of five, and I’m working toward my dream of spending part of the year living in Southern Italy to learn the local culture and language.
I manage two different types of properties:
Otsola, Joensuu: My personal, spacious home in a peaceful neighborhood. It’s perfect for remote work or studies, as it’s equipped with a high-speed fiber optic connection.
Villa Raita, Varpasalo: This property is part of our family business, Karelia Cottages. It offers a truly unique experience, as it is located on its own private island. It’s the ultimate spot for those seeking nature, privacy, and tranquility. The house has a reliable mobile connection, but for longer stays, a fiber optic connection can be activated if needed.
