We're Semir and Elvira, and we host this apartment together. It's our own flat in Grbavica — not a managed rental.
We've been hosting for two years, and most of our guests stay for weeks or months rather than a couple of nights. That has taught us what actually matters for a longer stay: a real desk, internet that holds up on video calls, a kitchen you can properly cook in, laundry you don't have to leave the flat for, and quiet in the evenings.
Between us we speak English, and Elvira also speaks Spanish and German. Our first language is Bosnian, which isn't on Flatio's list.
We answer messages quickly, usually within the hour. We're happy to help with the practical side of settling into Sarajevo — where to shop, which tram to take, how the paperwork works — but we don't hover. You'll have the whole apartment to yourself.
