António is an excellent landlord – very hospitable, punctual, and always available. When we told him we would be arriving with our baby daughter, he thoughtfully bought baby food and towels for her in advance. He also drove with us around the island and helped us find a baby cot. We highly recommend António as a caring and kind host and we'll hope to be his guests again.

The apartment is located in the São Roque area – a very quiet neighborhood of Ponta Delgada. It offers a fantastic view of the ocean and coastal cliffs, with beaches just a short walk away.
While there are a few small local shops about 15 minutes on foot, the nearest large supermarkets like Pingo Doce or Continente are around a 30-minute walk.

Even though the bedroom windows face the road, it’s a calm and peaceful area with a quiet two-lane street. There's also a bus stop nearby, which is convenient.

It’s worth noting that once a year, about a month after Easter, a big religious celebration takes place. A stage is set up in the nearby square for three days, and the area can get lively. If you're traveling without small children, it’s actually a charming and interesting local event. But if you do have a baby, you can sleep in the living room with an ocean view – this way the festival noise won’t be a disturbance.

Clean, fast internet, good equipped kitchen, ideal running track directly in front of the apartment. Nice beaches 2km by foot and a bathing place just 500m away.. Host is responsive and cares for your needs. Bus stop 5 meters away. 3km by foot to next big supermarket. 1km to some mini markets. It gets loud in the morning rush hours because the busses and cars drive by directly under the bedroom window. During the night is is quit.

Super safe during day and night Sao Roque is just a small suburb with some minimarkets and a post office. All the relevant stores and services are in Ponta Delgada
