Hi, I'm Jessica. I've been working as a host for 4 years, and I truly enjoy welcoming guests and tenants from all over the world. It's very important to me that they feel cared for and supported throughout their stay.
I'm a very responsible person, and if any issue comes up, you can always count on me. My husband Carlos also helps me, and you might see him as well if you need assistance during your stay. We live very close by, so we’re always available if you need anything.
I'm 38 years old, originally from Venezuela, but I've been living in Madeira for 6 years now. It's been a wonderful experience , Madeira is a beautiful and peaceful place to live.
I speak Spanish, Portuguese, and English, so feel free to communicate in the language you're most comfortable with. I’ll be happy to welcome you!

The apartment is very well located, close to the center of Funchal but in a quiet area. It has a balcony with a view of Funchal’s harbor.
Both the apartment and the building were very clean and well organized.
The apartment is very well equipped, with everything needed for a long stay — things like a coffee maker, orange juicer, toaster, and plenty of dishes.
It also has a parking space in the garage, which is great since it’s quite difficult to park on the street. The only small downside is that the entrance to the parking area is a bit narrow.
The host is very friendly and attentive.

I stayed here for a month in August, and it was truly a wonderful experience!
The apartment looks exactly like in the pictures, and the building itself is modern and clean with two elevators as well as stairs. The apartment is very well equipped – you’ll find everything you need for cooking (pots and pans in different sizes, toaster, mixer, strainer, etc.), and also for laundry (washing machine and drying rack).
The location is amazing: the city center is just a 10-minute walk away, and there are bus stops nearby (for example on Rua 31 de Janeiro). Right next to the apartment (just 1 minute away) is the beautiful Jardim de Santa Luzia, perfect for a relaxing moment after a long day. My personal favorite, Jardim Municipal do Funchal, is also just a few minutes walk away. Another huge advantage is the garage right under the apartment, included in the price.
The neighbors are very quiet – I didn’t hear a single noise during the whole month! If you leave the window open at dawn you may hear birds, but that’s just part of the charm of Madeira. The balcony is also bigger than it looks in the photos and separated from the neighbors’, which made it feel private and comfortable.
Jessica, the host, is incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. She responds quickly and shared excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to visit (I tried several and really enjoyed them!). When my arrival was delayed due to weather conditions and my flight was rescheduled, she immediately adjusted and came to hand over the keys when I arrived. The same happened when my departure flight was delayed – she kindly allowed me to stay until 5 PM.
Overall, I felt very safe and comfortable here (as a woman traveling solo), and I would definitely stay again! :)

The neighborhood feels very comfortable and safe to live in. There’s a small grocery store just a 7-minute walk away, but for bigger shopping you’ll find a Pingo Doce supermarket at Plaza Madeira (10–12 minutes walking), and an even larger Continente supermarket about a 4-minute drive away.

I can highly recommend the restaurant Cai D'Queixo (4 minutes walking – delicious food and cozy atmosphere) and Rei da Poncha (12 minutes walking – for truly amazing poncha and sandwiches).

The flat is cozy and well equipped - perfect for a comfortable stay! The hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful, always quick to respond and help. Highly recommend and glad to return!

It's almost the center of Funchal, so everything is available there. Although, if you want to go to big supermarkets on foot you need to go down and back uphill a bit, so might be not that easy.

Jessica is a fantastic host. Very friendly and helpful. She regularly checked in with me to see if everything was okay.
The apartment is great! Spacious, very clean, with plenty of natural light, excellent internet, and everything you need for a longer stay.

The neighborhood is safe, and it’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the center. It’s quiet at night. The only thing to note is that there’s a school playground nearby, so if you open the balcony, you may occasionally hear children playing and yelling, but it’s not a big issue.
15-minute walk to a bigger grocery store and approximately 6-8 minutes to a smaller one.

We lived here for two months and could not have hoped for a better place! The view is incredibly and the terrace has space enough to enjoy every meal outside and even sunbathe. The rest of the place is just lovely as well. It's about a kilometer from the city centre and the beach and getting down there is very quick as it's down hill. Coming back up is a bit of a different story though but you'll get used to the climb! Jessica was a great host and helped us quickly with everything we asked for. If you're considering a longer stay in Funchal this is the place you've been looking for!

Jessica is a wonderful person. She takes hosting to highest level. Was waiting for us at 1:00AM in the night and was responding to any demand we had in less than 6 hours. Apartment is great, has a see view from balcony that will fill your moments, when you enjoy a coffee or even take a meeting. Great conditions for work, very good internet speed and comfortable office area.
We stayed almost 1 Month with small kids and we felt like home! Thank you Jessica! Thank you Madeira...we will return!
