Maurice is the most wonderful host, so accommodating and helpful. The apartment is so lovely - in a fantastic location, really near a great supermarket, super easy to get everywhere, fab areas nearby, 10-15 min walk from the train station which is great for beach days - we spent 3 very happy months here! All the neighbours are so kind too, we really felt at home and we were so sad to leave! Thank you Maurice! Until next time :)

It’s lovely, but it is the most touristy area of Lisbon - we knew before going, it’s a fantastic base and there are some great things to do and see, but for more authentic experiences you have to visit some other neighbourhoods, but all are very easy to get to from here!

Maurice is the most wonderful host, so accommodating and helpful. The apartment is so lovely - in a fantastic location, really near a great supermarket, super easy to get everywhere, fab areas nearby, 10-15 min walk from the train station which is great for beach days - we spent 3 very happy months here! The apartment is very well located. Overall, it is pleasant to live in. But we were very unhappy with the cleanliness, which was really bad. The kitchen was very dirty, the shower curtain was also dirty, and there were lots of cockroaches. Communication was also difficult: we waited 3 weeks to get a duplicate key (out of the 5-week rental) and even on the day of departure, we almost missed our plane because we had no news to check out.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Alfama! The local area is charming, vibrant, and full of character, while still feeling very comfortable and safe. The location is perfect for exploring Lisbon, with easy access to all parts of the city. The landlord was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place as a great base for anyone visiting Lisbon!

Maurice is super attentive host. The appartment is stylish, thoughtfully furnished, cozy and well equipped. The area is very central but very chill. Excellent for short or mid stay to explore beautiful Lisbon. The internet speed is perfect for work.
