Welcome to ALMA – of Nostalgic Japan in the Heart of Osaka

ALMA is a beautifully renovated two-story traditional Japanese house nestled in a peaceful, retro neighborhood of Matsubara City, Osaka.
Blending Showa-era charm with modern comfort, ALMA offers a serene retreat for those seeking a slower pace of life, just like in a Studio Ghibli film.
Of course it very suitable for Nomad workers.

Step into the 1970s and experience everyday Japanese living at its most authentic. The house is tucked away in a quiet residential district that feels like time stood still, yet everything you need is within easy reach. Supermarkets, cafés, drugstores, a shopping mall, and the train station are all just a 10-minute walk away.

1st Floor:
・Kitchen: Fully equipped with essentials including an electric oven, microwave, fridge, and even a retro coffee machine and coffee mill .
Whether you're preparing a simple breakfast or a full Japanese dinner, everything you need is here.

・Living & Dining Room: The warm, earthy textures of the plaster walls and wooden interiors create a calm, grounding atmosphere. Perfect for quiet meals, reading, or just being still.

・Bathroom Area: A relaxing shower with bathtub, toilet room in a sunroom wash area with soft natural light to start your day gently.

2nd Floor:
・Bedroom & Workspace: A flexible layout ideal for one or two people. There's a dedicated work area with desks for remote work or creative time.
・Balconies: Enjoy the fresh breeze from the small and spacious balcony, perfect for your morning coffee or evening wind-down.
Smoking only allowed in Balcony.
・Storage: Big storage for more than enough for two person, you can storage your cloth, daily equipment and even suit cases easily.

While ALMA is nestled in a peaceful local neighborhood with charming shops and all daily essentials within walking distance, it's also well connected to the city. If you’re in the mood to explore the vibrant heart of Osaka, you can easily reach:
Tennoji & Abeno Area – in 30 minutes one train.
Namba & Shinsaibashi – 45 minutes
Umeda – approximately 60 minutes

You get the best of both worlds: the quiet comfort of local living, and the energy of the city just a short ride away.
