Johnny and I opened Transylvanian Coliving in the summer of 2023, after living as digital nomads for the past 3 years, me as a software engineer and him as an English teacher.

We saw the need for such spaces dedicated to location independent people in Romania, and decided to create one that checks our own boxes in the hopes that it would check other people's too. We live here in the beautiful city of Sibiu, with everything within walking distance and a comfortable place to live and work.

My biggest love is cooking, and I have a cookbook collection that I left in the common areas for other people to use. I love community dinners and cooking together, and I worked in a restaurant for a couple of months during culinary school. I love making tacos with homemade tortillas, baking fresh bread or healthy(er) desserts, but also stews, curries and other easy to share meals.

I also like hiking and biking through the park all the way to the village museum, close to the Dumbrava Forest. I use the city bikes almost daily, as it provides a super convenient way of transportation.

By training, I am a software engineer and work remotely from the coworking space. I am into startups and projects focused on environmental issues and education.
