It was a studio apartment in a lovely communal neighborhood. It’s not as spacious as the pictures online would have you believe. Having said that, if you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood this is not that kind of neighborhood. The community loves celebrating their heritage and I think it’s lovely. Expect parades with hours and sometimes days. Also, this is a tourist area so lower your expectations of a quiet night. Tourists are noisy. Management was cordial. Stay on top of your communication with management. The cleaning lady was always nice. Lastly, if you plan on staying at the apartment for a long stay always check the Flatio payment section to make sure you are current. For some reason the site doesn’t send payment reminders even though they have your email. They’ll only send you an email when it’s past due and that’s a maybe. It’s up to you to visit the site to make sure that your payment is current. With all of that said enjoy your stay.

I’ve already stated this in my public review.
The neighborhood was a lovely communal neighborhood. They like to celebrate their heritage which I think is lovely. Having said that it could mean hours of parades and music which is fine if you like that sort of thing. For me it was no problem. It is a tourist area so expect noisy tourists. The local shops and venders were such lovely people. I was always respectful to them because I am a guest in neighborhood and it was a pleasure to have stayed amongst them.

I recommend the bakery Balboa. They make the best breads and desserts. The people are also lovely.

STYLISH STUDIO 5 MINUTES WALKING FROM THE BEACH

Building Urbana was prompt and professional. They communicated proactively and delivered everything they promised. Weekly cleanings were great. And a couple of items that needed fixing were fixed quickly and fully.
The flat was not quiet - very loud neighbors and dogs and lots of drunk people shouting and singing at all hours. So bring eye masks and ear plugs.
