The location of the apartment is extraordinary, although it is really old and should be renovated (especially the windows, that eventually the owner did not fix as promised), also, common spaces are extremely small. Overall, it is a perfect accommodation for a couple with a child, for a short stay (1-2 weeks), we were three student and we stayed for the all winter semester and the house is definitely not suitable for such a period.

Hradcany district is probably the best in Prague, surrounded by historical buildings and, even if packed with tourists during the day, very calm and silent at night. Well linked with the other parts of the city but also close to the city center in walking distance.

Probably avoid the restaurants in the immediate nearby, beacuse they do not reflect the current prices in Prague, but the are several at 10/15 min of distance. For city sightseeing, the apartment faces the ministry of forein affairs, the loreta church, the Petrin hill and Prague caste, all worth a visit.

Jitka and her husband were very responsive and hospitable. The location is ideal and the apartment stayed cool even on hot days. We had all of the amenities we needed and the Internet connection is very strong in the small bedroom and kitchen. The tram stop is nearby as is the castle, but the apartment stayed very quiet...except for the singing birds and pleasant chimes of the church bells. We would certainly rent this apartment again.
