Average experience, surely way too expensive for what is given.
More than €800 for a room in a shared apartment with 3 other people, with just one bathroom, 30 minutes away from the city centre (by public transport), is not worth it.
Additionally, the kitchen is cluttered with unnecessary junk that should be stored elsewhere. With "junk" I mean piles of wooden panels stored even under the kitchen table. The pictures in the listing, obviously, do not show that.
As for the check-in, the owner wasn't there, which is totally fine, but what isn't is that the person she charged with handing me the keys came two hours late, never answered my phone calls and showed me my room still messy.
Clearly, not everything is bad; the room was well equipped with furniture and comfortable. The owner recently replaced the old kitchen furniture; now the fridge is bigger and has freezer storage for everybody.
The neighbourhood isn't touristy at all, so no noise during the night and quite well equipped with supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries and a swimming pool nearby.

Barrandov je od centra na pohled vzdálenější, ale tramvajové spojení na nejbližší metro i přímo do centra je výborné.

I stayed in Iva's accommodation for 2 months.
The room was spacious and the accommodation quite functional.
The flat has excellent transport links (bus and tram nearby).
Iva is very responsive and is there if you need her.

Die Vermieterin ist eine sehr liebe und nette Dame! Wir haben des öfteren nette Gespräche führen können und auch sonst hat sie mir bei allen Problemen zugehört und sich sehr bemüht, das Problem zu lösen.
Die Wohnung sieht etwas anders aus als auf den Bildern, die Küche ist leider sehr vorgestellt, was es etwas weniger schön macht. Das Zimmer ist super! Das hat mir sehr gefallen. Das Bad ist okay, aber leider kann man nur baden, da man den Duschkopf nirgends anbringen kann. Einige Mitbewohner waren sehr dreckig und haben nicht nach sich aufgeräumt. Jemand hat schimmelnden Reis in der Küche hinterlassen. Jedoch war dies zum Glück nur ein Einzelfall.
Die Lage ist super! Sehr ruhig, viele Familien und das Prokolpsky Udoli ist direkt nebenan, ein wirklich sehr schönes Tal! Perfekt zum Wandern und spazieren gehen.

The prokolpsy udoli is a must! The chinese restaurant right next to it is also quite delicious with great prices. The bistro right next to it is really nice as well.

I stayed at Iva’s place in Prague for 1.5 months and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, Iva made me feel completely at home with her warmth, kindness, and incredibly helpful nature. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable and memorable stay.
The room was cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained, with a stunning view that added charm to every morning and evening. The overall vibe of the home was calm, peaceful, and perfect for focused work or study. I highly recommend this place for young professionals and students looking for a long or mid-term stay in Prague.
Barrandov itself is a lovely, green neighborhood with great connectivity to the city center. Trams and buses are easily accessible, making commuting a breeze. Whether you’re exploring Prague or working remotely, this location offers the best of both worlds.
Iva’s hospitality truly made all the difference, and I’m grateful for the time I spent here. I would absolutely stay again. Totally recommended!

I stayed here 6 months and it was very nice. No issues. My room had the balcony and I loved it. So much light and access to fresh air. Plenty of places to put my stuff. Landlady was very nice and communicated well during my stay. Would recommend staying here for short or long term. Location was nice as well. Close to grocery and there was a barber and pub right downstairs in the square.

Quiet. Apartment was above a variety of things including a restaurant and barber. Getting groceries was close as well. Transportation was a quick walk to take the tram.

Pěkný pokoj, jen rozměry jsou menší než je uvedeno. Starostlivá majitelka, která dbá na čistotu, ale z kuchyně a předsíně si udělala tak trochu skladiště.

Everything was fine. The landlord was very cooperative. We just missed common spaces where we could fraternize with other lodged people: a living room or a confortable dinning table.

It's a very safe neighborhood with all the necessary amenities close by. It's a residential area. Very quiet with lots of parks and green areas ideal for jogging or biking or just for taking a walk.

Affordable, decent apartment. It's not luxury, but if you are like me and just want a clean, safe place for a temporary stay, then this apartment is a great option. Most of all, it's very convenient. It's mere steps away from the tram, there are two potraviny stores within a moment's walk, there are two albert supermarkets (one a ten-minute walk, the other in the courtyard of the building), and a friendly pub. It looks far from the city centre on a map, but I could be in Prague 1 in 25-30 minutes by tram.

Apartment quiet and well placed (shops nearby) and usually clean. Well equipped but the layout of my room needs to be redone (paint, curtains and especially carpet). The bed base can also be consolidated. A very good stay despite that. THANKS
