It's a bit of an old neighborhood. People don't really speak English around the area but they are friendly and will still try and help you. You may need the help of a translator. It is an authentic Portuguese neighborhood.

Definitely check out the beaches and the path along the river. If you are up for a walk up hill then you can go see some nice parks and nature in Jamor and Monsanto. Otherwise I would recommend the restaurants nearby the Algés train station.

It was very nice staying here. Rita was so nice, the house looks just like in the photos and Alameda is a lovely neighbourhood! 10/10

Small two-bedroom apartament on the ground floor near the river and train. But there is No problem with the loud traffic, and you can sleep easily. Nice spot to visit Lisbon or Cascais. Very good contact with the owner.

Rita es muy amigable y siempre está dispuesta a ayudar. El apartamento es tal cual como en las fotografías y se está muy bien. El balcón es agradable para estar en la tarde. Lo recomendaría.
