Greetings from the Canadian owner of the stunningly gorgeous "Finca Los Encinales" in Costa Rica. As a widely-traveled veteran video journalist, I am finding my stay in Rio de Janeiro being extended. My daughter is now studying in France and so the house has been standing empty for the last six months, which is just a sin - somebody should be enjoying it... why not you!?! Like anywhere else, Costa Rica takes a bit of getting used to but once you get the hang of it, you will love its quaintness and its quirks along with it's fabulous natural settings. The Encinales neighborhood has become extremely organized via an instant whatsapp group and our on-site caretaker, Laureano, is available to help with any questions/and or emergency that might require his attention. And while I am several thousands of kilometers I am also available 24/7 to help out with any question or issue you might have.
