It’s a very nice quiet residential area with some students as it’s near few universities and close to the city centre (25 minutes walk or 5 minutes on a tram) There are nice parks nearby, shops and nice restaurants nearby. Parking can be an issue. Very good links on public transport

There was a nice pub we went few times for dinner called Sviansky Senk with delicious homemade food and there is a tram nearby that goes to the lake and a Zoo. From the lake you can either take a ferry or a bus to the Veveri Castle which is beautiful

Very nice apartment, very close to the center either by foot or public transportation. The apartment included all that I need. Olena was a very nice landlady.
